Prep Work for the Cafe

The MYF at our church did a Thanksgiving Cafe today to raise money for the summer convention. The menu was, 9 turkeys, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, gr beans, fruit jello, dinner rolls, and pies. We met at the church kitchen sat afternoon to debone 9 turkeys and get some of the food ready. Then we did the rest sun morning. It was a great fundraiser and the kids did great. We had alot of compliments on the food, people really seemed to enjoy the early turkey dinner. The following pictures are from sat afternoon deboneing turkeys. But really, is debone a word?? Someone asked me that and I told them if they knew what I meant by it, then it probably was a word. Daa
